A Libyan sponsored aid ship has set sail from Greece and, according to the captain, is heading towards Gaza.

Israel, however, says it had reached an agreement with Greece and Moldova to stop the vessel.

The ship left the port of Lavrio on Saturday, but organisers say it will take 70 to 80 hours to reach Gaza's shores.

NAVE LIBICA; ISRAELE INSISTE, NON ARRIVERA' A GAZA Continua il braccio di ferro tra Libia e Israele sugli aiuti umanitari a Gaza. Gli israeliani hanno ribadito che alla nave Amalthea, salpata ieri da un porto greco con aiuti umanitari libici, non sara' consentito di raggiungere la striscia. Per Tel Aviv la nave potra' invece raggiungere il porto egiziano di El-Arish e scaricare la' gli aiuti destinati alla popolazione palestinese.
