Σίγουρα το να ξεμένει κανείς από μπαταρία δεν είναι ό,τι πιο ευχάριστο, σε οποιαδήποτε συσκευή. Βεβαίως, αν μιλάμε π.χ. για το κινητό, τα πράγματα είναι απλά, καθώς χρειάζεται απλά ένας δανεικός φορτιστής. Αν όμως μιλάμε για το αυτοκίνητο, τα πράγματα είναι σαφώς πιο δύσκολα, καθώς πρέπει να περάσει άλλο αυτοκίνητο και να έχετε τα σωστά καλώδια για να συνδέσετε τη μπαταρία του με τη δική σας- και πρέπει να συνδεθούν σωστά, αλλιώς υπάρχει κίνδυνος ακόμα και να πάρει φωτιά το αυτοκίνητο.
Υπάρχει και η παλιά μέθοδος του σπρωξίματος του αυτοκινήτου, αλλά αυτή ενδείκνυται περισσότερο για τα παλιά αμάξια, καθώς τα νέα χρειάζονται περισσότερο ρεύμα για να λειτουργήσουν.
Στο κανάλι Shake the Future του YouTube προτείνεται μια τρίτη μέθοδος (αν εξαιρέσουμε το να καλέσει κανείς οδική βοήθεια), η οποία φαίνεται να είναι «συγγενική» της δεύτερης. Όπως επισημαίνεται, λειτουργεί καλύτερα σε βενζινοκίνητα αυτοκίνητα, καθώς δεν πέτυχε σε πετρελαιοκίνητα: Ο οδηγός πρέπει να σηκώσει τον μπροστινό τροχό με τον γρύλο του αυτοκινήτου, να βάλει τρίτη ταχύτητα, να δέσει με σκοινί τον τροχό (δείτε το βίντεο) και να τον τραβήξει δυνατά.
Καλώς εχόντων των πραγμάτων, το αυτοκίνητο θα πάρει μπροστά. Αν όχι, δοκιμάστε ξανά. Αν και πάλι δεν δείτε αποτέλεσμα, καλέστε την...οδική βοήθεια (για αυτό την πληρώνετε στο κάτω κάτω της γραφής).

This will work the best on petrol cars. I did try it on diesel, but it did not work.
Your car needs to have a manual transmission.
My brother told me that he saw my dad doing it, so I decided to try it out.
You are suppose to jack up the front wheel (on a front wheel drive car) and put the car in the 3rd gear.
Wrap the rope around the wheel and pull it.
If you're lucky (and strong), the car will start.

In this video, we are looking at the way to Jump-Start a car using a battery from the drill.
It's not the smartest thing to do, but it's handy to know.
Life it's full of surprises. Imagine staying at your friends house, in the middle of nowhere. You find out that your car's battery has died. Unfortunately, there are no car's around to ask for the Jump-Start.
Pushing is also not an option.
You have an important meeting that you can't miss.
What do you do?
Ask if your friend has a battery operated drill.
It might save your day.
As long as the battery is charged and same voltage as cars battery, you might get lucky.
Well, actually the voltage can be higher, but I am not sure at what point it becomes dangerous to car electronics.
My car's battery is 12v and I used 12v battery from a drill.
I believe that a drill with 14 or 16v would be safe to use, but It's just my believe, not a fact.
If somebody knows, please feel free to educated me in comments.
This trick will work the best with small cars, small car batteries.
Battery can't be completely dead, otherwise it's not gonna work.
In the video, I connected both batteries together. That way, the small battery was charging the big one. I only charged it for 8 minutes. Obviously, my car's battery was dead-ish not completely dead.
That's why I was able to do it.
